BikeRide finds and shows you the best prices of the bikes you want to buy. Prices constantly change and it’s impossible to compare them all yourself.
We search for prices on over 120 bike retailers to guarantee that we find the lowest prices – to save you time and money.
It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.
If you find a lower price, email us at [email protected] with documentation of the price. We’re committed to making sure that the cost of a bike does not keep you from cycling!

Summary of Reviews
We have read all expert and user reviews on the DYU C3. In summary, this is what cyclists think.
5 reasons to buy
- The DYU C3 has lights with brake activation, a rear rack, bell, chain guard, kickstand, and fenders.
- A tester enjoys the nimble ride.
- Reviewers praise the smooth power delivery.
- Owners and reviewers appreciate the easy assembly process.
- Multiple testers confirm the max range of 23 miles is correct.
10 reasons not to buy
- Multiple experts say the seatpost slides down while riding despite being within the bike’s 265lb weight limit.
- Testers and owners report issues such as the motor stalling, battery failure, and a defective charger.
- The C3 is heavy for a mini 14” e-bike, weighing nearly 45lb.
- DYU markets the C3 as a folding e-bike, but the frame doesn’t fold. At 50.2” x 8.66” x 24.02” with the handlebars down, it’s still quite long.
- Reviewers report ghost pedaling at the higher end of the C3’s 15.5mph speed limit.
- The 14” wheels are unsteady when riding at higher speeds, say testers.
- Reviewers within the C3’s weight limit say the motor struggles during regular riding and is almost incapable of climbing hills.
- According to reviewers taller than 5’5”, the C3’s cockpit feels cramped and uncomfortable.
- Experts say the headlight isn't very bright.
- The small rear rack has limited functionality.
Bottom line
The DYU C3 is a mini electric bike with a 350W motor and 270Wh battery. This model has many shortcomings. Complaints include a seatpost clamp that can't support the riders within the weight capacity, poor hill-climbing ability, high relative weight, a cramped ride feel for riders over 5'5", instability at speed, and ghost pedaling before 15.5mph. Reviewers and buyers say the C3 could be useful for 'last mile' commuting, but the slew of design flaws and customer-reported quality control issues mean it should be avoided.Expert Reviews
