BikeRide finds and shows you the best prices of the bikes you want to buy. Prices constantly change and it’s impossible to compare them all yourself.
We search for prices on over 120 bike retailers to guarantee that we find the lowest prices – to save you time and money.
It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.
If you find a lower price, email us at [email protected] with documentation of the price. We’re committed to making sure that the cost of a bike does not keep you from cycling!

Summary of Reviews
We have read all expert and user reviews on the PEDAL CORE. In summary, this is what cyclists think.
12 reasons to buy
- The CORE has space for an extra passenger and a payload capacity of 350lb. A tester reports that it's easy to carry a passenger on the extended seat.
- The bike can be configured to fit Class 1, 2, or 3 regulations. It also has an unrestricted "Sport Mode" with a 32mph max speed.
- Testers say the inverted fork suspension and dual rear shocks work very well.
- An expert says the rear coil springs are easier to adjust than air suspension and don't need adjustment for carrying an extra passenger.
- Reviewers say the "cushy seat," fat tires, and suspension deliver a very comfortable ride.
- One expert likes the accessibility of the charge port under the seat and that the battery is removable for off-bike charging and security.
- A reviewer is impressed by the short stopping distance of the PEDAL-branded hydraulic disc brakes.
- One tester says the BMX-style handlebars give a comfortable riding position as well as confidence and control.
- According to an expert, the brake levers are easy to operate, and the trigger shifter provides crisp gear changes.
- One reviewer appreciates the "mellow" acceleration and speed in the lower assistance levels (ideal for beginners and when carrying passengers) and the impressive speeds available in levels 4 & 5.
- The CORE's stated range of 50 miles proves accurate in tests.
- A reviewer says the CORE's relatively high saddle height suits taller riders better than many similar e-bikes.
6 reasons not to buy
- User forums and feedback are filled with complaints of faulty and broken bikes, non-existent customer support, and unfulfilled warranty promises.
- The non-adjustable saddle limits fitting options and comfort for riders at either end of the height range.
- A tester says the Shimano 3-speed drivetrain and 17-23t cassette result in ghost pedaling at 20mph and can make pedaling up hills hard work.
- Testers highlight that the "pretty basic" LCD display and lack of a companion app means limited ride data and customization options.
- One expert says the CORE's listed height range of 5'5″ to 6'4″ isn't realistic.
- The CORE doesn't come with lights, fenders, or a cargo rack.
Bottom line
The PEDAL CORE is a beefy, moto-style e-bike with full suspension, a 750W motor, hydraulic disc brakes, fat tires, and room for a passenger. Testers praise the excellent suspension and brakes, ample power and range, and enjoyable ride quality. Based on tested performance, the CORE appears to offer strong value as a fun commuter or beach companion. However, if the reports shared by PEDAL owners reflect the bike's long-term durability, it becomes hard to recommend the CORE.Expert Reviews
