Bottom line

This is the step-through version of the third generation of Rad Power’s RadCity urban/commuter bike. The newest step-through RadRover features hydraulic brakes and massive ‘float-anywhere’ tires, but the RadCity 3 sticks to moderate tires, mechanical disc brakes and a more accessible price bracket. While braking and gearing components are mid-range (at best), they can be more easily maintained by owners than hydraulic brakes and internal hub options. It seems to be heavy for many owners to lift by themselves. But otherwise, owners are pleased with the price, seating position, power and range of the RadCity Step-Thru 3.
