BikeRide finds and shows you the best prices of the bikes you want to buy. Prices constantly change and it’s impossible to compare them all yourself.

We search for prices on over 120 bike retailers to guarantee that we find the lowest prices – to save you time and money.

It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.

If you find a lower price, email us at [email protected] with documentation of the price. We’re committed to making sure that the cost of a bike does not keep you from cycling!

Summary of Reviews

We have read all expert and user reviews on the Revibikes Rebel.2. In summary, this is what cyclists think.

10 reasons to buy

  • Revibikes states the Rebel.2 can carry 400lb, including an above-average 120lb on the integrated rear rack.
  • The Rebel.2 is easily configured for e-bike Classes 1, 2, or 3 via the display.
  • Experts praise the stopping power of the hydraulic disc brakes.
  • Reviewers say the suspension fork, ergonomic grips, plush seat, and fat tires provide a comfortable ride.
  • At just 34.7” x 27.6” x 11.8” when folded, the Rebel.2 is more compact than comparable bikes.
  • Experts enjoy how quiet and smooth the Innova 20" x 3" tires' tread is on pavement.
  • Riders can adjust the slow-start setting, sensitivity of the cadence sensor, and motor assistance in each PAS level through the display.
  • Reviewers appreciate the agility afforded by the Rebel.2's small wheels and narrow handlebars.
  • The Rebel.2 comes with a headlight, a taillight with turn signals and brake activation, and fenders.
  • Reviewers compliment the Rebel.2's stylish look.

11 reasons not to buy

  • Two test bikes arrived with faulty battery holders that required fixing in order to use the bikes.
  • Testers experience ghost pedaling at 20mph, making it hard to reach 28mph using PAS.
  • Reviewers find the complex main hinge mechanism challenging to operate.
  • The "clunky" suspension fork is not adjustable.
  • In testing, the Rebel.2 struggles on steep gradients.
  • A 6’ tester finds the bike cramped and confirms Revibikes' stated rider fit of 4‘9” to 6’2” is unrealistic.
  • The display has to be removed to loosen the handlebars, making it hard to rotate them to suit different riders.
  • A tester complains that the bolt securing the lock-on grip digs into their hand while holding the twist throttle.
  • The 2A charger means long charging times, but this isn't unusual at this price point.
  • One tester reports that the sprung saddle wobbles side-to-side; another finds this unsettling.
  • Inconsistent and vague information on the Revibikes website and a lack of clear specifications underline this bike's budget character.

Bottom line

Revibikes' Rebel.2 is a folding fat-tire e-bike with a 750W motor, 720Wh battery, and suspension fork. The above-average payload and rear rack capacity, stylish aesthetic, and compact folded size impress. Testers also praise the range, comfort features, nimble handling, and powerful brakes. Riders can easily adjust performance settings and configure the bike for different e-bike classes. However, the main hinge is fiddly, the suspension fork is clunky, and the stated rider fit is unrealistic. Quality control issues, ghost pedaling, and poor hill-climbing performance also count against this bike. Despite these concerns, reviewers feel the budget-friendly Rebel.2 is good value.

Revibikes Rebel 750W & 28 MPH for Under $1K

Obviously, they didn’t test the bike before they shipped it out, which is concerning to me. But if you can get past that… you’re getting a lot for your money.
