BikeRide finds and shows you the best prices of the bikes you want to buy. Prices constantly change and it’s impossible to compare them all yourself.

We search for prices on over 120 bike retailers to guarantee that we find the lowest prices – to save you time and money.

It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.

If you find a lower price, email us at [email protected] with documentation of the price. We’re committed to making sure that the cost of a bike does not keep you from cycling!

Summary of Reviews

We have read all expert and user reviews on the Riding'times GT73. In summary, this is what cyclists think.

6 reasons to buy

  • Experts say the GT73 handles and maneuvers well on light off-road terrain, including muddy trails.
  • A tester praises the dirt bike tires for their traction and puncture resistance.
  • Two reviewers find the suspension works well to absorb light bumps.
  • The GT73 can reach 35mph in Turbo mode (max assist) using either PAS or the throttle.
  • This bike comes with fenders, lights, and pegs to replace the cranks.
  • The GT73 arrives mostly assembled, and the rest of the process is easy, according to reviewers.

15 reasons not to buy

  • The GT73's product webpage and owner's manual are full of inaccuracies and contradictory specifications.
  • At 126.1lb, the GT73 is extremely heavy.
  • Riding'times misleadingly lists the bike's top speed as 37mph, though this is without a rider.
  • A 150lb tester gets just 19 miles of off-road riding from both batteries.
  • The slight throttle lag frustrates testers, and one finds the power delivery jerky.
  • The batteries can be difficult to remove and insert. One reviewer has to move the battery mounts to get it to fit.
  • Experts say brakes aren't powerful enough for this heavy bike.
  • The pedal assist and throttle speed settings aren't adjustable.
  • Testers are disappointed by the GT73's hill climbing performance, given its 1,000W motor.
  • The suspension isn't adjustable.
  • With a fixed seat height of 33.4”, riders under 5’9” may struggle to fit.
  • This e-bike exceeds all classifications and is illegal to use on public roads and trails.
  • A tester complains about having to carry two battery keys and an NFC key to start the bike.
  • The short rear fender fails to keep mud and grime off the bottom battery.
  • Testers recommend following the assembly videos, not the poorly written manual.

Bottom line

The Riding'times GT73 is a motorcycle-style e-bike with a 1,000W motor and two batteries totaling 1747.2Wh. The top speed excites testers, but it falls short of Riding'times' claim. The bike's range is also grossly exaggerated. Reviewers compliment the bike's looks and handling on light off-road trails, but the high weight, jerky and delayed throttle, non-adjustable speed settings and suspension, and weak brakes mean that, while the GT73 looks like a dirt bike, it's not capable of being ridden like one. Additionally, its performance is disappointing, even at this price.

Too Good to Be True?? | Riding’times GT73 Motorbike

… as an e-bike rather than a dirt bike, it’s a pretty good bike, [with a] top speed of 35mph. It is full-suspension. It has a ton of clearance if you did want to venture off-road, for you brave souls…

Riding’times GT73 Manual and Electric Dirt Bike | Initial Opinions

Overall, it’s a nice bike for the price. It’s fun to ride, handles well, and is plenty capable. The controls get the job done, but could use improvement. The software feels more like a college project than a polished product…

Riding’times GT73

Overall, even despite the obviously false marketing, it’s been a good bike for the price. It’s essentially an e-bike dressed up to look like a Surron or Talaria style bike, but with way less power.
