- Reportedly, instructions were dismal: the manual was unclear and generic with poor photos and unidentified parts. One owner found a video online that was also unclear and difficult to follow.
- Assembly was a bit of a puzzle. No tools were included.
- The quality of customer service was condemned for lax and dismissive responses.
- The Nadine arrived missing major parts. These included a front basket, rear rack and chain cover. Other parts, vital to assembly, were also missing.

Bottom line
Firth Sports seems to have become XDS and Firmstrong. The ‘Firth Sports’ Nadine has XDS stamped on the chainguard, which sometimes didn’t arrive in the box. Also frequently missing was the front basket and rear rack. From the lack of instructions, poor quality control and lax packaging, it seems that the manufacturer isn’t too concerned about the customer’s satisfaction.
